3. Rain Again

I guess with the shortest day being only days away, we should be expecting this, but the grounds were just starting to dry out enough to do something useful, when along came the rain again, on the already saturated soil, and things went back under water.

The house, garages and pavilion have stayed dry, but one of the decks went under water this time... along with gardens, lawns, carpark and front entrance.

Having found some of the many sprinkler systems throughout the gardens, it is obvious that we won't be under water in the warmer seasons. That's a relief.

Our gumboots are being well used.

Many trailer trips have been taken to the dump.

A pump is on the agenda for our next purchase.

and the chainsaw is still working... (well one of them is.)
